From 640 lb Blocks to Portions

COPRODEV PLUS cheese cutting technology addresses large cheese producers seeking to automate cheese cutting and packaging operation. Although we do work with customers producing cheese in 40 lb moulds we are specialised in the handling and processing of 640 lb cheese blocks. Our experience with cheese cutting goes back as far as 1984 with the realisation of multiple large scale projects for reputed cheese producer throughout United State and Canada.

We make an obsession at understanding our customers’ needs and we will adapt our technology to meet our customer process and not vice-versa.

We are regularly involved in auditing existing production line and providing detailed technical recommendations for productivity improvement.

Our cheese cutting technology has also been applied at automatically feeding cheese slicers or cheese shredders.

Our expertise is specialised in cutting 640 lb cheese blocks automatically into individual portions of varying size. Three main piece of equipment are utilised to gradually cut in three successive steps 640 lb blocks (or 40 lb blocks) into consumer size portions.

All equipment are designed having in mind the hostile wash down environment of the cheese factory with sanitary guidelines conforming to the NSF-3A norms and stainless steel workmanship meeting or exceeding international standard.

An operator is required to load the 640 lb cheese blocks onto the accumulation conveyor and occasional equipment supervision is required for the automatic cutting equipment.
